Tom Schneider
I am a people-oriented real estate agent who helps home buyers and sellers in Fairfield, Connecticut. I have an extensive background in finance and a knack for analyzing long-term investment potential. I'm also very familiar with current housing market conditions within Fairfield and the surrounding area. As a Fairfield and Westport resident for over 17 years, and with three children in the Fairfield School district, I am extremely familiar with the various neighborhoods and amenities here in town. I have been a member of a local country club, participated in sports programs and supplemental learning programs for all three children, and have personally purchased and rented multiple properties in town. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, sincere real estate professional to help with the sale or purchase of your home, look no further. My educational background includes a degree in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA from the University of Texas (Austin) and Leadership classes at Yale University in New Haven. I transitioned into real estate after spending more than two decades in the financial services industry. As a portfolio manager, it was my job to analyze the long-term risks and potential value of multimillion-dollar assets. I now use those same skills to help my real estate clients achieve their financial and housing-related goals. My previous career gave me keen insight into the world of finance, while paving the way toward a new career in real estate. This is one of the things that sets me apart from other real estate agents in the Fairfield area. I know the local housing market and what it takes to buy or sell a home. But I also have a deep understanding of the financial side of real estate transactions, the financing process, the tax issues associated with each property, and how to maximize the value for your home when listing. As a home buyer or seller, you'll benefit directly from that experience. If you have any questions about my real estate services, or what I can do to help you, please don’t hesitate to ask. I look forward to hearing from you!
